Yes ha ha  :D I really want some of those really really black nanas that just about fall part in your hands as you take skin off. Unfortunately ours don't last long enough to get to that stage but they are the best for everything. I probably should put some aside for this purpose but I would like to get some where the price has been reduced  :D marvelous what a difference a couple of days makes to the price sometimes, but our 2 big supermarkets near us rarely sell reduced priced fruit

I like those bananas too CP.  On Friday our local supermarket put two trolleys with F&V in that they wanted to get rid off cheaply.  You can fill a plastic bag with as much as you can fit in and then they seal it and price it at $3.  I got two containers of blueberries, some mandarins (which were beautiful) some pak choy, cos lettuce, and cucumber.  There were 3 blueberries I had to throw out the others were great and I have put them in the freezer.  They will come in very handy

CP, we have banana trees, we also get given bananas for free.

I always have mashed ones in the freezer for cakes. :)

I love bananas. Did you know that if you eat a banana before drinky poos, it helps you the morning after - something to do with the B12, and probably having something in your stomach  :D I haven't told my kids that tip but. Also roses love banana skins as they contain a lot of potassium. Also mozzies particularly are attracted to people who've eaten bananas. This is all probably heresy, but it's keeping the thread going  ;)

Now I know why mozzies like all of us, we like bananas.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I wonder if there is something you can eat to keep them away, like garlic keeps vampires and elephants away :-))
