I have an LG fridge with digital controls, screen, etc., and I was advised to put a surge protector on the electric outlet because they can be disrupted by power surges, lightning strikes nearby, etc.

Gert, I have ad no probs with mine at all. The only ice is from the ice maker.

Do as Bedlams says, I often reset anything with a computer in it.  20 mins isnt long I would do it today. If that doesnt work get them out.

I have to track down a Gameboy Advance for Brat Boy....apparently he is having a flashback to his childhood...I did point out that he is still in his childhood but was ignored.

Thanks Amanda but bozo wants one to add to his collection of Retro consoles.  Unfortunately I'm a technogeek and we have acquired most of the various gaming systems since the late nineties and have never gotten rid of them but we missed out on the first couple of nintendos.....we did have a gameboy colour for brat boy but I gave it away when he got his SP back in 2002.  I'm not entirely sure why he has a bug in his brain about the gameboy advance (he has a gameboy advance sp) but apparently he HAS to have one.  I'm going to have to have a chat with him about wants and needs....but he works hard for his money at Maccas so I can't complain too much...he only has five months left before school ends and he has to be financially independent (or at least thats what I'm telling him!).
