The noise that mine made didn't happen all the time.  But mostly happened during steaming.  It was a terrible noise!  You could not have had a machine doing that during a demo.  Hasn't happened again since my blades were replaced under warranty.

Crikey DG that is some cook up!

I look forward to the day when my boys leave me alone enough to get half that done!

My husband is the same!

Though his eyes do light up at the mention of anything bacon related, so I am thinking I might use that as an excuse to get In the Mix, so I can make that Bacon Dust and sprinkle it around with gay abandon!

Alice (she of the seemly endless display of big kooky glasses) seem to have a thermomix.  We spotted it in the audition video in an early episode, and she had it out for the bread challenge.

Even in these early episodes of Masterchef you can spot TMXs on the shelves in the background.   In previous seasons I don't think they used them until later.  I would assume they have to be trained on a lot of these pieces of equipment.  Particularly the industrial sized things they come across in challenges.  If only for an OHS aspect.

Here we go again!

Our home Internet is down so all I have for the next few days is my iPhone!

Spotted in the good guys catalogue on page  8 - thermofoodpro superchef for $499. Looks like the Bellini. Will try to post a link but it is't so easy to type an iPhone when your baby is trying to grab it!

THat reminds me of an friend telling me about going to a party for an ex-work colleague who had "turned lesbian", and her telling us of her disgust at the "lesbian bushwalker food" on offer.  It was all vegetarian or vegan, and lentils.  Had us all in stitches!   :D

I love this jam!  I am not usually a huge jam fan.....but I simply must have this in the fridge, and could happy tuck into it with a spoon!

Cross posting with pizza maker discussion I know but I am hoping to find someone around!

Coles have a pizza maker for $29 so what do you reckon?  Try it?  Or does it just screm Bellini?
