Made two fruit cakes; Festive Fruit cake for DH as he loves this and a Golden Fruit Cake for family and friends. It will go fast so may have to make another one. Cant wait to try that nougat; kitchen still messy though from cake making and lunch.

I don't like nougat......so my lot will miss out 😁
Great cooking. Every one has been busy.
Your food always looks great ES. Pleased you like the quiche as much as we do.
More hamper cooking today plus a bit more.  Malt slice, mini fruit cakes, Rara's cherry bites, double batch of Tenina's lemon curd, cheese and bacon pull apart loaf, tortillas and beef enchiladas. Used the leftover egg whites to make mini pavlovas for the boys and the leftover dipping chocolate was spread out and sprinkled with crushed up candy canes for a quick Xmas bark. The boys are in heaven......you'd think it was christmas!

Kimmyh I am exhausted just reading all the wonderful things you make; when my children were little oh what I could have done with a thermomix but now the youngest is in his 40s I just cook to make us more rounded or give it away, but I still cook.

My efforts for the day. I'm finding that I still need to sit down for a while in the afternoon.

I can't post the photo as Tapatalk is cross with me. It was bread and 8 bread rolls.
