We loved this. I even got to use some bread and butter to slop up some of the juice, even though it was quite thick. This is so etching I did as a kid and don't do very often.
After reading the reviews I decided to only use 2 teaspoons of stock and use a cube of frozen umami. I will do the same next time. I made the full amount and we have heaps left for lunches over the weekend.
5/5 from me.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

This is a great recipe.  We all loved it.  I'm really enjoying this book.

Lovely meal. Used pumpkin instead of potatoes, and lamb mince instead of cubed lamb. It made 7 generous serves. Served with sourdough bread, very enjoyable.
