Welcome yes
Ditto to all the gr8 comments previously.

Have you had a free demo yet. Get hubby along to one or a cooking class etc and then have him try and convince you why you shouldn't have one. LOL.

Ok, ok, ok girls, I get the message. I have to buy one.  ;The more research I do, the more convinced I am and........ reading all your replies - thanks so much for helping me - I am now more positive than ever. I shall get Christmas over, get rid of some of my hundreds of cookery books and use the space to store my new toy. Can't wait. Thanks again everyone.Much appreciated. I shall keep looking in on the forum too. Seems like there's a lot of info here about the TM.

Now, the next thing is which books to buy to go with your Thermomix past94x  ;D  When you are ready, please do come back and ask - we love helping people spend money.

Past94x,  don't store it anywhere, it HAS to be on the bench where you work, you will be using  it every time you cook.

Ditto. Things in cupboards get forgotten.  Plus you are going to want to show off your thermie to everyone!!

Ditto   I love them. Sometimes I even have the hot plates and oven going too.

Tenina's Dinner Spinner and For Food Sake and Alyce Alexandra's Quick Fix in The Thermomix have exceptionally good recipes..I don't have Alyce's new book,Low Carb Cookbook, so can't comment but from the reviews here, its very good.I also like the Fast and Easy Indian Cookery Book.
Tenina also has an ebooks available called Merry Christmix and Whats for Dessert, again very good recipes.
This forum also has an invaluable source of recipes.Tried and tested and tweaked to suit a persons taste.
