Hi all, I'm from Portugal and I'm holding the Portuguese book in my hands. Most of the recipes will be very different I guess, because I can see they made an effort to reproduce a lot of portuguese familiar recipes. So here it goes:

Thanks for trying Pedro -= but it is a big task.  Shame they don't have a bigger list on their website to help translate.

Yes, I agree! It's a great idea!  I speak and understand English but I live in Italy. My Italian husband bought me the Thermomix TM 31 here and I would love to exchange recipes and also try other cook books all over the world.   Grazie Mr. Spock,  you have a brilliant idea! Far Breton aux pruneaux - No idea what this is, but here's a picture...


Far Breton is a superb dessert - have a recipe from a Philippe Mouchel cooking class at home.  It is a bit like clafouti - yummo..

its a flan with prunes in it and is a brittany dessert (bretagne..the region  on the west cost of france - the arm)  :)

obviously everyobe is just translating away but translating from books THX books is not going to cause problems for the forum???? are there copyright laws etc???  does anyone know ?? or care?  i dont mind translating and sending the odd recipe but the whole book dont know???

^ the more recipes shared, the more TMX's bought I'd say so I'd think Voerwork woudl be happy with sharing.

Far Breton aux pruneaux  is in the aussie EDC. p138. Quite good. I use prunes that  I have soaked in sherry for a good 3 months before hand:)
