Thermomix Novice
« on: June 22, 2012, 10:56:42 am »
Hi all, I'm Cathi from Sunny Queensland.

So excited!  My thermomix is in transit and will be here early next week.  I'm having a demo on Sunday and can't wait to try all the yummy food!

It has almost been a year since I first laid eyes on a Thermomix and knew absolutely nothing about them. I was quite shocked when I first found out the price, but once I seen it in action I understood why they cost so much. I love making my own food from scratch and I know the Thermomix will make it all the more easier and less time consuming!

I can't wait to start cooking for my family with the Thermomix!!!

Hi Cathi, welcome to the forum.  You and the TMX are going to become firm friends so spend this time in waiting having a browse of our recipes, pick some out and get the ingredients so that you are ready to go as soon as it is delivered.

This section may be your best friend also as you can check out reviews from all the recipes done from the books.  Those on the forum will have the reviews beneath the recipe.  Have fun.

Thanks guys, already feel so welcome  :D

Michelle/Mishyanne1> I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I'm thinking some sort of cake will be in order once it arrives. I've already printed off a ton of recipes from the thermomix cooking community, everything from Quinoa bread to Hummingbird cupcakes.  I've been following Quirky Cooking aka Jo on Facebook and she post some awesome recipes and the pictures are great too, I'v been itching to try them......................only a few more days!!!
