Glad you are feeling better now Lynn. Yes, you get Fast and Easy Cooking as the basic book. I had Taste of Asia as an extra when I bought mine, but don't use it as am not keen on Far Eastern food. For Food's Sake is not available in the UK unfortunately, although I had an e-mail from Thermomix Australia saying that they will ship to the UK. I had though of getting Full Steam Ahead to encourage me to make more use of the Varoma, but I don't know how good it is. Have fun at your demo JB

I like vintage but not pink. Now if it were a nice, rich purple that would be a different matter ...

I have them popping up all over the place together with lettuce, little yellow cherry tomatoes and flat leaf parsley and cape gooseberries. Lucky you! Flat leaf parsley is another thing I have problems getting as well :-( JB

If the microplane herb gadget is this one, you need to make sure that your herbs are dry, otherwise it won't work. I have one but hardy use it as it is a pain trying to get the herbs dry enough after washing JB

I am going to ask a friend who is going to a supermarket tomorrow to get me some Scotch Bonnets. If they don't have any, would dried chillies work? I have tons of dried bird's eye ones but wouldn't be sure what quantity to use.

I want the sieve attachment for my Kenwood but I'm being strong!
Hmmm ... I have seen the sieve attachment but not sure what it does (I know it sieves, but wonder how it would be of benefit over and ordinary sieve). My top two required attachments for the Kenwood re the potato peeler and the paste extruder (the one with bronze dies) - have you tried either of these? JB

Would Scotch Bonnet chillies give about the same amount of heat? Quite difficult to get habaneros where I live JB
