Sorry I can't help with recipes. I do try to be very careful with things that have cholesterol in as DH needs to watch his.

I can get carried away with all those lovely recipes we have, so I need to make more really healthy things and avoid the rich stuff for a while.

I can't really help with specific recipes so watching what you eat and how you cook things would be the way to go.  I believe oat bran is an excellent way of keeping cholesterol under control - I have 1 tbs in my porridge each day and so far I have been fine with my cholesterol (I am not saying that this is a cure, this is just my experience to date) ... although I am also vegetarian so I think I am less likely to have any problems - I certainly hope that is the case, anyway.

Drinking red wine helps, not really a recipe.  :)

DH has to watch his, mine is fine. I just make sure he doesn't eat too much of anything with animal fat in, eat lots of fish, chicken and I cook with margarine for that reason. I always use EVOO too as that is a mono unsaturated fat.
