I would like to add the day I had no TM, just one day, I went crazy. We rely on our TMs soooo much. Love my thermie :)

I know for a fact that this forum has been a big player in me loving Termite so much. I have friends who aren't on here ( don't know why) and they are amazed at all the things I can make with mine. They think I am so clever, when all I do is use everyone's recipes. Thanks everyone. :-*
-
Yup we are AWESOME and Thermie too.

So true Cookie,I couldn't have said it better :-* :-*

And without you cookie and CC and JD,we wouldnt have this wonderful forum and love our thermies as much.
Thanks ladies. :)
-
I love mine too! And I love this forum because I wouldn't love my TMX (and maybe not have even bought one) without the wonderful folk here :)
-

Sure is!

Love TM and love being able to relate to like minded people about cooking with TM and other appliances. I was talking about the forum yesterday to mum and she thought I was talking about Floreat Forum which is a nearby shopping Centre to me :-)) :-)) :-)) (really mum...you should know by now, there's only one forum that I always talk about)
-
CP has your Mum bought her TM yet ;) ;D

Lol, Here here
-
That's a strange name for a shopping centre CP.
-
not as strange as Innaloo ;D
No CC, not yet. All focus lately has been on dad who is not travelling well, but she will as soon as I can get her back on this train of thought. She still wants my cat tho. Never wanted a cat before this one, but she's not getting her as she is too precious to me.
-
Sorry to read about your dad, CP, hope he pulls through. Perhaps your mum would apperciate an affectionate cat (no ... not yours!) just now to help her through difficult days then the TMX can be a celebratory gift when your dad is recovered.
-
Best wishes to your Dad CP, didn't realise he was still not going well. :-* :-*
-
No she doesn't want any cat - she would only want mine. We thought that too with Chrissy coming up. Might just wait until they move out of their current home as they have put it up for sale before I get her one as it would depend where they go.
-
All the best to your dad CP.. Hope life is smoother for him soon !!
-
Thanks girls. He has always worked physically hard, watched whats he's eaten, never drank, never smoked, never partied, and now his health is failing fairly rapidly and he is all skin and bone and frail as can be. You can never guarantee your health thats for sure. In comparison the guys from the Rolling Stones seem to be doing quite well. Not going to sabotage this thread tho which is full of positivity so we'll stay on topic :-* :-* :-*
-
I agree with all the above :)
-
Hope your dad picks up CP. :-*
-
Best wishes to your Dad CP ( agree totally with your sentiment).
Take care x
-
I'm sending my best wishes to your Dad as well CP, hope things get better soon xx
-
CP, best wishes to your dad.
Still love mt thermie, even dh says uts worth every dollar & more.
3 bowls is really really good, use all 3 most days :)
-
I'll join in.
Mine is only new but I love it and use multiple times every day.
-
Agreed I was the one at the demo convinced as much as I liked it, wanted it, I couldn't justify it. I had the demo mainly for my SIL & BIL. At the end DH said get it and we had one, if it wasn't for this forum I don't think I too would have gotten as far as I have and wanted to try new things as well as the ones that don't work with tips from the forum.
CP sorry to hear about your Dad my thoughts are with you & your family
-
Hope your dad gets well soon, CP. Then he should party hard :)
I love my TM, and I'm hooked to our forum. Try to visit whenever I've got some spare time...and even when I'm "running" 100 km/hr ;D

I think this forum made the difference for me too. It took it from a handy appliance that probably would have just sat on the bench a lot of the time to a machine that I don't have time to use for all the things I want to try!
The machine itself is of course great, but if I'd started out with just the EDC, I don't think I would have been as inspired to try the million and one things I have made.
