Can anyone tell me what this is and how it is made in the TM please?

The Umami paste recipe was developed by Tenina Holder and is here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7138.0) :)

I've made a few batches of this and freeze in ice cube trays.
I probably should put them in heaps of dishes but the only one I seem to put it in is my spaghetti bolognaise. It helps make it super yummy!
It's super simple to make make you've sourced the dulse seaflakes.

Many thanks. There's no stopping me now.

I have a relation who does reviews at restaurants. He sometimes has dinner with us and if I have used the umami paste he loves the dish and says it has something he can't put his finger on !

Anyone know if there is a UK equivalent of Dulse sea vegetable, flakes?
-
You could try here . . don't forget to make sure that anyone having anything with dulse flakes etc in it is not allergic to shellfish as there apparently is the risk of minute traces -

I have left the dulce out and I don't think it makes an enormous difference to the finished product. I've used a part of a sheet of nori as an alternative as well.

You can buy Dulse Flakes here (http://www.macrobioticshop.co.uk/search/Dulse%20flakes) :)
