I've actually got a box of that in my cupboard Gert. It's not that we are GF at all, I'm just trying to cut down the amount of wheat I eat and DD loves the taste of the quoina bread. I looked at mixing some of the quoina flour with the package you have and wasn't sure how that would work but maybe I should give that a go next as I doubt I will use up the GF box before it's use by.

As well as the cottage pie I made earlier I decided to also make a batch of Chookies Strawberry Conserve.  The @#%& stuff boiled over on me and made an awful mess which took ages to clean up.

Mab,  that is bad,  how did this happen?
Hally,  you still want us to stand on our heads?  Just joking.  Bread looks good which ever way it is posted.
Today making chicken and mushroom cottage pie with leftovers,  bread from new book and ice cream, possibly peppermint crisp .

The bread looks great Hally.

ACW, is the peppermint crisp icecream a new recipe? DD is going through a tub of the peppermint icecream from here every few days at the moment, but she won't even try any other recipe or flavour.

Definately my fault chookie.  I placed the basket over the hole when I turned the temperature up to varoma and then got busy doing something else in the kitchen and forgot to watch it.  Turned it down to 100 deg and that stopped it.   I will take more care next time.   I love this conserve as do all the family, this batch was at the request of my DIL. :D

Definately not the recipe chookie.  I've made this many times and know to keep an eye on it.  I shouldn't try to do too many things at once. :)

Yummo Chookie :)

DD and I made gingerbread cookies from the festive flavour booklet. It's such a lovely dough to work with and great for little people to use with cookie cutters :)
