The bread looks great and Hally I like the sound of that quoina dish. I made a roast vegetable and quoina salad today using Jo's cooking instructions. I've never had quoina before and it's quite nice and I would really like to use it more often.

My first time too, its yum. Having it with buritos:)

Donna Hay has quite a few recioes in her Fresh and Light book.

I love quinoa, it seems to have a sort of nutty taste.

Marie your bread looks lovely and crusty, my DH would love it. It must be sourdough time as I have mine out and have been feeding it ready to make a loaf tomorrow.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

We all really enjoyed the quoina salad. DD ended up picking most of the quoina out of the salad because she wasn't overly interested in the vegetables. I'll need to look into more recipes.

I love quinoa and even DH 84 has taken to it. Very versatile and comes in varieties. Can be frozen but why bother just cook In small  amounts. Interesting texture and flavour. Far more interesting than rice.

Great loaf Gert, thought I would try Chookies sourdough loaf again but cook it in my Le Crueset which I could not find yesterday. Wow, would not have thought it would have made such a difference. This loaf twice the size . Thanks again Chookie

Seeing all the bread is making me start to think I should have a go at a loaf.

Today I have made some choc chip banana muffins and have a some zucchini muffins is the oven at the moment.

The other day I made sweets for the Melbourne Cup which consisted of Vanilla bean panna cotta, chocolate mousse, citrus curd tartlets, individual pineapple and cherry ripe cheesecakes, macarons with an almond buttercream filling, lemon sorbet and salted caramel fudge.  Made the cheesecakes in my new individual cheesecake pan and served the mousse and sorbet in black and white cupcake papers as that was the colour theme.

Wow arcadia that's a lot of desserts.

Try making some bread, the recipes on here great and many of them almost fool proof. my favourite is the "cobb" or "1 large 2 small vienna" loaves.
