A small rost beef last night, not sure what to have tonight.

I hope all the sportsmen and women have a win tomorrow K Atie. It is quite an achievement to get to where they are.

We are having pizza tonight. The bases are rising and most of the toppings are cut up. I have bought some fresh mozzarella to have on them tonight.

We are having salmon fish fingers tonight. The recipe uses tinned salmon but I am going to use fresh.

Well dinner was a repeat pesto pasta again with home made steamed spelt bread , thermoblogger’s recipe . Followed by a piece of steamed fluffy lemon poppy cake . Got a little carried away and bent down to get containers out to put bread in , hurt my knee , now I am very quiet , rest .

Naughty, naughty K Atie. But it is hard not to do what you are used to do.
Had a visitor for dinner. We all loved the Souvalaki with all the trimmings. Made some Chocolate baked puds.  They were too rich for me but Ral and visitor loved them.

We brought back from London yesterday leftovers from the meal DD has cooked for us. I’ll steam some cauliflower to go with it.

Katie, it's only a week since your operation ... I had mine 3 weeks ago, it was nowhere near as invasive as yours and I still cannot kneel, so you won't be able to bend over, kneel, etc. for a while yet.  Back to taking it easy for you for a while longer!!
