No dinner for me tonight as we have been at a party all afternoon and we ate continuously. Luckily we had skipped lunch as I'd made buttermilk pancakes for brekkie.

My SIL is over from Melbourne so Mum and I were invited to join him and his family for a pub meal tonight.  I had a huge pork rib chop which was cooked to perfection.

Sounds like a nice night out Judy. We had traditional sunday roast lamb last night and pressure cooker peppered pork tonight. I'll be away for work for the rest of the week so will be eating out each night.

Have just put Maddy's Mum's Meat Slice in the oven.

There was one tomato left in a bowl on the bench so I diced that up and added it to the mixture.  Also added a little bit of home made chutney as well.

Tonight we will be all packed away so we are having a very easy meal.
Bacon, onion cooked in the pan. Slice up frankfurter and add to heat through. Add a tin of baked beans and heat through. Perhaps not the healthiest but it has become a staple here on our last night.

That's called "cordon bleu" in our house cookie.    Anything that is a mixture of various bits and pieces or left overs.  Sometimes on toast or maybe with veggies.

Will give this a try GF. I ended up with 2 books and gave one away here at the forum. Haven't cooked anything from it yet. I even went to the demo for the book.

Don't we all do that, Mich!   I have books here I felt I couldn't live without and went to great effort to get them on my shelf . . . same thing!!
