Baked salmon in dijonnaise and cream on parsnip mash with our very own home grown carrots (yum) and minty buttered peas.

We are having left over leg of lamb, cooked it in the slow cooker yesterday with half a cup of water and it was delish. First time in the slow cooker I normally cook it in the oven

I love my slow cooker too!  :D

Dinner tonight will be something with leftover slow cooked chicken - either a casserole or pizza or something quick and easy...not 100% sure yet.
:D

Fish and chips and salad.  Flat Head,  salad is Belinda Jeffery's 'Chinese Pickled red Cabbage with ginger'.  So handy,  as you make a pile and it keeps in the fridge for ever,  well until you eat it.  Not TMX but worth making.  Will post if anyone interested.  Also my batter is better than any other I have tried,  including beer batter and Bill's and Stephanies.  Will make it in the TMX tonight and post quantities.

Thankyou, it's funny but if I say this is a Chookie recipe DH is much more open to trying it.

That looks really nice Maddy, I've bookmarked that recipe for future use... :-)

We just had some pressure cooker casserole tonight. I accidentally used white wine vinegar instead of red wine, so the taste isn't as nice. It's amazing some such a small quantity of something can make a difference. We also had some Portuguese rolls with it too. I made Tenina's buttermilk rolls, but didn't really like them. It was probably me, though. I don't think the buttermilk I used was in the best condition.

I'm not sure I can add a picture from my iPad but tonight I had my very favourite dinner; Lemon Pepper Salmon, with a side of baby spinach and tomato salad. Yummmmmm.
