Hope your DH heals quickly bonsai. My mum had a hip replacement last week too.

We had slowcooker lamb chops in gravy, potatoes and pumpkin, corn.

I am a bit ashamed to say it was the remains of the meat from a lamb roast in a jar of curry sauce plus some frozen okra. DH had a hip replacement today and by the time I got back from the hospital I couldn't be bothered doing much.

Best wishes to DH Bonsai. Apparently up and about asap is the treatment for joint replacements. I occasionally get bumped to orthopaedics and am amazed at how quickly the get them up.

Amazing isn't it. Suppose just the way things are. We don't keep patients in bed as we use to - get up and get moving.  :D

I am doing dinner for bil and sil, he had an appendicitis attack on Saturday night, they operated sunday morning, he came home from hosp on Tuesday and is still feeling rather sore.  :(
so I will just do extras of ours and it will be very basic. Marinated beef roast, roasted potatoes, pumpkin and kumara, steamed veg, cauliflower bake, steamed carrots, corn, and beans, and gravy.   :)
muffins from the freezer for dessert.
:D
