Hubby is away so the kids and I have looked in the freezer and they have voted on hashbrowns and squid rings.
Terribly healthy meal,  :o thank goodness he's home late tonight!
There will be veges tomorrow.

I was meant to be having chicken kiev with roast potatoes but my oven died. The potatoes were roasting at 200 degrees and it threw the safety switch, I turned it back on and everything seemed OK, but by the time I put the kievs in it was 100 degrees. I'll call the landlord tomorrow to get it fixed, hopefully they don't take too long to fix it, but I don't think I'll be home for them to fix it until Wednesday. It's going to be a long few days here... :-(  I was going to make focaccia this evening and dinner tomorrow night was meant to be shepherds pie. I've had to move my meal plan around a bit and just hope that it's fixed by the end of the week.

We had Asian chilli & ginger fish steamed in the microwave with snow peas and herbed rice, slow cooker chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert.

Easy Sunday night dinner at our house. We had leftover leek and potato soup with cheese and bacon rolls from the freezer. The kids didn't like the soup as I'd put a little chorizo in it. They had baked beans and toast instead. Dessert is a choice of lime and coconut friand or Chookies fantastic Portuguese custard tarts. Guess which dessert I'm having!
Jackodai, I feel for you. I hope you get it fixed soon

 :( :( :(

We had crumbed fish with potato salad and steamed vegies. For the record: there were NO slugs on the cauliflower :D

The worse part is doing the dishes for a meal I couldn't eat!

We had thai chilli chicken and basil.

Followed the recipe below.. Except I threw in extra chillies with the seeds, whole bunch of basil and coriander, 200ml coconut milk and mixed through blacked spinach for greens.. Enough for lunch for myself and J.
;D hoping it might be spicier tomorrow ! Yum!

Oh yes, love chillies! Unfortunately the chillies I used today were the last from the plant – the frost here has killed it and we've been slow with relocating it  :-\
