Thanks MM. That is fair enough. Glad that we can still share recipes and helpful hints with the TC and HMP owners.

Could be that someone might start an HMP forum. Be handy.

That's perfectly fair. Hopefully, Stewart will look at starting a HMP forum. Tenina has some recipes for it too if people are keen. I would hope that eventually we can have ideas and recipes for all Thermothingy's on here without the actual promotion of one against the other.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Exactly. Happy Thermomixing  for everyone. Thermo what ever has almost become  part of the vernacular here. Like Kleenex is to tissue!

Had a look back at this site that I bookmarked about the Bellini.  Not surprised.

I'm afraid I had a little, no big laugh at her misfortune.

Just another way that Thermomix beats them all: just spotted this blog post by a former Bellini owner  :( who switched to Thermomix  :)... it seems the Bellini's Varoma steamer is not able to reproduce TMX recipes and the poor Bellini owners are stuck with raw food in their steamers. So sad but good that they are being warned.  ;)

I've seen it advertised in magazines but that is about all.

I'm about to confess that I bought the jamie oliver homecooker from myers the other day.  I had a gift voucher that was about to expire and a 15% off email.  I hate my son using my thermomix because he never cleans it properly and he wants to do more cooking for himself now that he is about to finish school.  I was having visions of coming home from work and finding Tom's jug sitting in the sink every day (yelling at this kid doesn't work....he has skin made of indian rubber).  So far I think it is good....I've made mainly stew type dishes in it and am planning to try some chutney's and jams over the weekend.  I can post some more information about how I'm finding it if anyone is interested......I wouldn't replace my thermomix (or thermochef) with it but it has some characteristics that are better, but can't do everything the TM or TC can.

It has only just been released on the market here apparently.  Myers at Carindale had only just received it into stock.
