You have been busy Chookie. I mixed my Yudane with the milk in my last mix. I couldn’t be bothered tearing it into small bits and I was getting it all over myself.
We gave a third to DD’s best friend and she loved it. I think she shared it with her family so I must do an entire mix for them. I will check which they prefer, the whole meal or the plain.
It’s going to be warm today so I have my starters out and fed.

Yesrerday I made a Classic loaf and some Choc Chip biscuits, I also did the Mango and Macadamie ice cream from Tenina. It was very nice.
My rye starter is not happy. I am in the process if re generating it.

I have had my SD starter in the fridge or 2 weeks.  Took it out this morning and fed it, then madeSD crumpets.
Made Bircher museli for next 3 mornings.

I made a Tenina Rye Bread today. It’s not a SD. It’s very nice.

This is the Mango and Macadamia icecream from Tenina.

I cooked my rye SD that had been in the fridge overnight. I used my resurrected rye starter. It seems happier and healthier now.

I made some Lemon and Blueberry cakes today. I did them in a fancy tin, but obviously didn’t grease it enough. They still taste nice even broken up.

Cookie, that dip looks very tasty.
Made RTE sweet potato fondue.  Think I would double the topping next time. Will report back when visitors have sampled it.
Added Molasses to the ginger nut biscuits.  Certainly a bit different.

Can't seem to go wrong with RTE recipes, she gets lots of flavour into her meals.  I made her fish curry a couple of weeks ago, reducing the chilli etc to our tastes as recommended and it was so good.

The roasted sweet potato recipe from RTE was very popular, and delicious. The topping of walnuts, butter and maple syrup was ample. I strongly recommend it. I didn’t do the second stage of baking in chicken stock.
I have lots of cooked silverbeet left over.  Will be experimenting. Also have just seen a recipe for using the woody ends of asparagus.

Chow Mein for dinner tonight, a beef casserole for the freezer and Belgium Lemon Teacake using apples instead of lemon butter.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
