Lovely photos Cookie.  A nice little few days away.

I spent most of the afternoon washing our crystal glasses to put back into the dresser. The dresser had to be dismantled for the carpet to be laid so the glass was packed away. My cookbooks were stored away too. They will be dusted and put back tomorrow.

Lots to do Denise but your house is going to undergo a full spring clean as you put everything back in place. We all know how good that feels.

Katie visited us yesterday Chookie and as the coffee shop had only just opened we were able to sit and enjoy a cuppa whilst watching some of the residents (including my 2) play modified 10 pin bowling.  Katie was very impressed with the facility.

Spent most of the morning altering a dress for one of DIL family who is battling breast cancer.  Their family are all off to Fiji to attend a wedding at the weekend.

Lunch at the Regency Park TAFE restaurant, slight hiccup with the fish totally raw in the middle but they made amends and we enjoyed the experience. No problems with the lovely desserts, service and attention could not be faulted.  They have to learn somewhere and we were happy to be their guinea pigs at reasonable prices.

Mum and Dad used to go to the Bentley TAFE here Judy. They enjoyed their meals there.

Did grocery shopping, then picked up 2 yo GS. I took him to our beautiful lake & playground nearby. So many baby ducks and water hen chicks have hatched in the last 2 weeks. So cute to watch their progress every few days.
We came back to our place for lunch, read lots of books and played till I took him home this afternoon.

It sounds as though you both had fun Katj. Is your DD fully recovered?
