Hair cut yesterday, DD helped do a bit of Xmas shopping then caught up with friends. Did a mad dash shop but never got to go to supermarket!! Picked up DS from school dropped at boarding house said goodbye to all the boarding staff and thanked them for all the extra care given . DH came and collected DS and his bags , they went to a Rist meeting ( agriculture school ) for DS . Picked up DD from her friends house had a chat ! Opps had to dash home , no food or fuel ! Mad rush home to change ready to go out and even put makeup on. Picked up by friends to go to bookclub/ dinner . Home early to find DH and DD out feeding dogs . DS was home going to bed ! Oh I think this reminds me how life got so crazy . Never mind catch up day today and Orthapidic surgeons telly health appointment for DS .

Had my hair cut yesterday.  Supermarket shopping this morning.  Then off to look for a gift for my GF for her birthday.

Judy and Cookie, great news. Also for DS of K ATIE.
Our friends Bruce and Mandy were in Melbourne today. After they inspected our view from the 49 th. floor we went to Brunswick for a Turkish lunch.
OMG , Costco.  Yes Judy, you had warned me. The back of our car is full.  A visit to Essential Ingredient yesterday morning was expensive.  They loaded the stuff on to a trolly and wheeled it to the car park. Too easy. Visit to Haighs ( thinking of you Cookie).  I think they have doubled the price of everything.
Finished my Xmas shopping.

Great shopping Chookie, the car sounds as if it’s full - time to go back home I reckon.

DS Orthapidic surgeon was pleased how the bone is healing ! Another X-ray next week and teleihealth appointment then too. Washing day , battling The wind all day . Chookie I can just imagine the back of the car weighted down . DH has been to collect his DM hire car 🚙 she drove out with a brand new hire car , it had 7ks on it !!

Well I love DD , five and a half hours in the car this afternoon! Dropped her in Torquay for I suppose schoolies week , just four girls staying together having a bit of a break !! It was nice to drive home just me for a time too. DS was at open day for Rist , lucky DH took him and picked up or would have been in car for seven hours . I did spend all week rearranging everything so this would work . DS had a great day , slept all the way home apparently, quiet weekend for him to rest his injury . DH harvesting canola tonight ! Home 11.30 pm , I can hear him having dinner, oh well here we go Harvest crazy hours .

I’m pleased you enjoyed Costco Chookie, also The Essential Ingredient and Haighs. As you mentioned somewhere we are all doing our bit for the economy.

KAtie over here we usually find we can’t harvest much into the evenings as the crop gets damp. They won’t accept it with too much moisture in it. Does that happen over your way?

Cookie the canola is fine to harvest but the wheat has the moisture problem . Now you get the dew in the mornings then let that dry out and if the moisture comes in early evening yes you stop . DS and I trip to Melbourne! Seen DM . Shop dash to get some dinner , it’s warm tonight . DS shoulder did not like the car trip much !

Poor DS KAtie.
I did some ironing this morning and  Christmas cards. They get fewer each year. Some relatives fall off the perch and some friends elect not to send them.
