Today my bosom buddy Jane and I are off to have our yearly mammograms.
Then because we've been good and had our check-ups it's off for a very nice lunch and glass of something bubbly.

Good plan . Did you  that you do not have to have a pap smear after 70?

No, I didn't know that Gert. Well that's something appealing about being 70.  Is that something recent?

I should have asked shouldn't I. I was told that when I had mine this year . I will be 68 in Oct. I wonder if they will call me back in 2 years now.

I just googled it. There isn't a lot of information just that women over 70 that have had two previous normal pap smear results don't have to continue unless they want to.

They must have researched that the risk is neglidgable .  Who would want to?

Today:
Only a little bit of crying this morning.
3 hour personal training session - if I didn't know where my quads were before, I certainly do now. HELLO legs!
Lunch. Little bit more crying.
Very long shower.
Forum surfing.
Trying to get motivated for study.
Going to make a cup of tea now.
