That is sounding like excellent progress, Chookie, keep it up.

Third day at the gym for me today.  Love hate relationship there for me, I am thinking!

Good on you Marina, keep it up.

Same here.
Ral and I spent all day on the Insurance for the home and contents. I have had 4 phone calls trying to get my mind around it all. Saved over a $1000 so pleased about that.

Marina , you will get used to the gym, but it does take a while.
My weight is still coming off and I can now fit into some of my ‘skinny ‘ clothes.

That's a good save with the insurance Chookie and also with the weight loss.

I had my hair cut earlier this morning.

Seems like hair cuts all around! I went in to get my hair cut really short. It’s longer than I’ve ever worn it, though still short. The hairdresser talked me out of it! So glad she did. Quick trim and it looks great.

Glad it’s you towing a trailer Cookie, I hate having to tow things.

I have a wedding to conduct this afternoon on a farm and the weather is awful! Lovely yesterday for rehearsal, but now very windy, overcast and cool. Always the way. No doubt it’ll be lovely tomorrow!

Marina, I hate the gym, too. I go to yoga classes and have just started a seniors Zumba. I’m on a low carb, high fat way of eating and lost early 8 kg last year. Maintained that weight for a year.  Best WOE ever. Lots of yummy food. I still eat starchy vegetables, but don’t eat wheat pasta or wheat bread or pastry. There are so many options out there now!

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Chookie Congratulations on the weight loss and also the insurance.
MJ well done on your weight loss too. I hope the wedding went well. I'm sure the happy couple didn't mind crap weather.

It's Mother's Day here today. Spoiled by my DS and DD with two beautiful bouquets of flowers. DS also partially prepared a Panettone which I finished off rolling and cooking here. It's now cooling.

CC, you are spoilt. Enjoy Mother’s Day.
It is Labour Day Holiday here.  It is recognition of an 8 hour working day. Lots of people go away for the long weekend.  It is very quiet around Invermay.

Happy Mother’ Day Denise, spoil yourself too and have an easy day.  DS comes up with some great ideas with the food he makes for you.

Hope the cds work Mab.   For years I have only slept 4 to 6 hours.  Awful really.  Since I have been on this diet I am sleeping 7 hours.

I'd  forgotten that it was Mothers' Day for you CC. I'm glad you had a lovely day.
We had our public holiday last Monday. I hope you all enjoyed yours.
Margaret I hope the relaxation CDs work for you. I am very lucky as I sleep well. DH likens me to a chook, I go to sleep when the sun goes down and wake when it comes up. Although I do  like a sleep in too.
