I'm nipping to the indian grocery store today. I'm pretty sure they'll have it ...... Our store has a mix of larger and smaller sizes. My neighbour (who's Indian), told me to store all the spices etc in the freezer and they last forever. I keep a smaller amount in the pantry and top up from the freezer when necessary.

Great tip. Thank you :)

Hally that's reminded me that I have pork belly already chopped for the pepper pork recipe, I'll need to put it on this weeks plan. Have you tried the pork belly from Teninas Christmas ebook? We all really enjoy the flavour although it doesn't go with roast vegetables - we have with stir fry greens and rice.

I'm going for easy tonight....Sous Vide Beef (cooked in its packet from Aldi) with steamed vegetables done in the Thermomix.  I'll just need to chop the vegetables and brown the Beef for a couple of minutes on the griddle.  I hate having to cook on Friday night after work.

Was planning to fry rice for dinner. But I just checked the fridge. Not enough basmati to feed the troop.

So it will have to be stir fried noodles. If I'm up to it this evening, I might also stir fry some vermicelli. Maybe I will test drive the TM with the vermicelli.
