My DH and myself are having chicken and basil pesto pasta with garlic bread. Cooked Chicken breast,( left over from another meal) pesto and bread from freezer, pasta and carnation milk from pantry. Find myself going out of my way to check what I have in freezer since this thread started.

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Dulse Leaves
« on: April 25, 2014, 03:46:53 am »
Hi, was thinking about make the umami paste and made enquiries at The Blue Ginger in Margaret River as to whether they stocked Dulse Flakes. They said they had Dulse Leaves. My question is, and this may sound silly, but would this be the same as the flakes if I just gave them a quick blitz in my thermie.

My ezislide tile arrived yesterday. Very prompt delivery time. :)
It has a felt-like nylon backing so looks as though it won't scratch the bench.
It seems to slide well and is still steady.
I will watch closely for scratching as my bench is new. But it looks as though it will be OK.
One concern I have is how it will clean up after a spill or boil over. It has a little card with care instructions but only says wipe with damp cloth and don't put into the dishwasher.
I think it will be great and recommend getting one as it really saves lifting or dragging the Thermomix across the bench.
Thanks Alyce and Lyn Barker.

Was wondering how this would go when making bread dough as thermy jumps around quite a bit.
