Introduce Yourself / Re: New vegetarian Thermomix owner from Reading, UK« on: March 17, 2013, 09:48:01 am »
Hi and welcome, I know what u mean about there not being as much interest in the UK for the thermomix, when I told my sister who lives in Southampton about mine (with much excitement i might add) she just looked at me with a blank expression so I'm paying her a visit in May and I will be showing her the web site and the forum. You definitely need the demo and then there will be nothing holding you back. Good cooking.

Chit Chat / Re: Sorry, can't contain myself.« on: March 14, 2013, 06:34:10 am »
I know just how you feel Past94x, I've had mine for 3 1/2 years now and still get very excited about it. I'm forever talking to my daughter in law about what we are cooking as she has one as well and I look at the forum everyday to see what exciting thing I can try next. Just finished making a sour cream loaf which is by far the best bread I've managed to do so far. So welcome to thermy mania lol .

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hi everyone« on: March 06, 2013, 05:29:09 am »
Hi Aussie Brenda, have tried various things in my thermy one of them being my daughter's wedding cake. I found a recipe on the UK thermomix website for Christmas Cake, wedding cake, christening cake and it turned out really well.

Hi eve, welcome glad to see you finally introduced yourself to the forum, although thinking about it you were a lot quicker than me. I know you will get a lot out of this and also give a lot to it.

Hi Astarra
I cook for just me and the hubbie but have 5 grandchildren so I like to make things for them also. I also like to entertain. I have a daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws who also have thermies so we are constantly talking to one another with anything new that we have tried. 128

Introduce Yourself / Hi everyone« on: March 04, 2013, 08:43:26 am »
Have finally found out how to introduce myself, don't laugh. Found out by reading that one of the forum members had the same problem, anyway here goes. I have had my thermy for 3 1/2 years and I 'm totally in love with it. My hubbie bought it for me after hearing about it from someone else. I was a bit sceptical at first until I saw it being demonstrated and that was it, love at first sight. Now that I have found the forum I am even happier.
