Being called for jury duty is something I have always dreaded Cookie.  Fingers crossed that you aren’t called for a case.

Finally started Christmas cooking today with a double batch of shortbread and a batch of Almond Vanilla crescents which I only make at Christmas.  Tomorrow will be biscotti.  We have had the kids living here while they modify their home so chaos and not much cooking done during the past months.

Have people coming for a BBQ.  Made the Sunshine Pullapart off Cookiedoo, Tenina’s Browned Butter Cherry Tart & Ottolenghi’s Apricot & Almond Cake (not made in the TM) & coleslaw.  So the TM has had a workout today but gee it saves you such a lot of time!

Chit Chat / Crazing on TM6
« on: January 14, 2022, 05:13:10 am »
Have any of you with TM6’s had crazing on the front of their machines?
I have contacted Perth and they said that this is common.  To get it fixed I have to send it away and looks like the costs will be born by me.  If it’s a manufacturing issue you would think it should be repaired free!!

Judy, I know what you mean.  I ended up buying mine at Tony & Marks as they were just like you would pick yourself. $9.99 a kg but I thought if we drove to the Barossa looking for some it would cost more in petrol!

My basil is going mad but unfortunately the coriander had gone to seed so had to buy some!  Haven’t made this for some time but I am trying to dig out some old and trusted ones.  Anything to make life easier!

Made a double batch of this wonderful glaze today.  Great with chicken/pork & salmon.
Think tomorrow will be making another double batch.  My only problem is that apricots are hard to find this year!

Lovely to hear from you Robyn.  I don’t get on here much these days.  My Mum is now 90+ so spend a bit of time in Port Pirie with her.

Marina, I hope your imagination is wrong and when you get there you won’t have to spend too much time clearing.  It will be nice to have a change of scenery!

Good luck with the new chook’s Chookie!

Sorry to here your news Mab.  I feel so sorry for all the hospital workers (I have two daughters).  Having to wear PPE all day isn’t fun and they feel so tired after their shifts with all the extra demands besides the masks ect.

Stay safe everyone!

Chookie, did your Daughter-in-Law get you one of the free Celebrate cookbooks from VZUG?  If you would like one just send me your address and I will fill in the form or ask her.  I checked and they are more than happy for other brand users to have them!
