Bit warmer today. 14 max after a very cold frost.
Iíve posted photo and method for Pumpkin Ravioli made with Wonton wrappers on my Blog.  After the disaster I made posting the last recipe on the Forum I might not transfer it. ( donít want to create more work for Judy sorting out my mess)

Cookie how wonderful for DD. The Guardian newspaper are having their annual competition naming Australiaís favourite bird.  You get one vote. I am voting for the Spotted Pardalote.

Also watched the footy. I have never before watched a complete match. Enjoyed it very much even though my team didnít win.
Tonight for dinner we had better have something very healthy after the sausage rolls etc.
grilled salmon and salad.

Nice shopping Cookie.
GD 19th Birthday on Monday.  I am cooking, garlic bread, Hummus, Pav and the TMX chocolate cake. Will drop off goodies but wonít stay for dinner as against the lockdown rules. I use Cookies Classic bread recipe for the garlic bread.  It is always the first to go.

Tonight while we watch the footy we will have footy food.  Sausage rolls, mini meat pies, puff pops with sardine and onion.  Fresh fruit and cheese platter.

I will be supporting the Doggies.  The were very nearly closed down many years ago as they werenít financial.  The women members rallied and made scones, cakes and jam.  Held stalls in the streets of Footscray, ( a very working class area of Melbourne). Made enough money and attracted several big donations. Also Ballarat is somehow linked with them.  I must admit that I know very little about footy although Ral played several games when he first came to Melbourne.

Very cold today.  Max 9. Was 3 an hour ago.

Nice to see everyone cooks to suit their situation. I have suffered from leftover behaviour from when I worked long hours, full time and with a family to feed. I have been trying to change this behaviour for 15 years.  Slow learner.

Turned cold again.
Rals latest platelet test was the best ever.  He is now in the healthy range. Will probably continue to go up and down a bit.
Footy grand final tomorrow. Cookie, enjoy the buzz. This is crazy, but Victoria gets a public holiday today, the day prior to the event.

Iíve changed my cooking regime.  Instead of cooking 4 serves and either freezing or eating the other 2 serves the next day , Iím cooking just enough for 1 meal. I have plenty of time to do this. I am now also freezing food in 1 meal lots. If I cook something in bulk, like Bol Sauce, I freeze it in 2 serves portion.
Last night I cooked a chicken thigh casserole. I used 2 serves of Ratatouille and 2 chicken thighs and popped  it all in my small SC. ( then added sliced mushrooms)  I steamed potatoes for mash in TMX basket with Brocollini on top in Varoma.
We enjoy variety and now I can try a lot more recipes.
Tonight 2 more chicken thighs, different recipe. Sweet and sour.
