Tonight we having curried sausages. ( left over from last night) I'm wasn't so confident making a main meal as yet and also need some ingredients. I'm about to go to shop and get some items to make stock concentrate. And maybe some custard for dessert. Yum yum. Cheese and bacon rolls are almost finished in oven. They look great and smell even better.

Cheese and bacon rolls are on the rise at the moment. A recipe I found on this forum. ( thanks to the person who put it on). Hopefully they turn out ok. I must do some house work now. Lol.

Well I made picklets for my first attempt as the kids were hungry. They were yummy ( even though I accidentally put in 60g sugar instead of 40g). I think I will make some bread rolls next. Only can try I guess. Lol. I need to write a list of ingredients to get from the shop as I go I think.

I guess you have been using this site for quiet awhile now and know your way around pretty well. I am hoping to be able to convert some of my favorite recipe's and post them on here for other people to use once I get to know my way around my TM when I get it. (Only a few days to go).

Well I have decided. Even though I haven't got my TM yet. Mine will be called The Kitchen B***h. or KB to be more appropriate. My Husband often calls me the kitchen B***h (Lovingly of course) So I am passing the name on to my TM. lol

Great reading thanks Judydawn. Very interesting. I only buy reduced fat margarine but from what I have been reading I think Butter would be alot better for me and my family. Thanks heaps for everyone's input.

I go through alot of Margarine and Butter with a family of 7 and thought I could eliminate margarine altogether if I make Butter. But not sure if butter is better for us than Margarine.

Hi all,
Can anyone help me with a couple of question with butter making. Just wondering if people add salt to help keep their butter longer and if so how much would you add?
Also what kind of oil is best used and again how much would you use?
