I have had my TM for only one week and went grocery shopping today for the first time since having my TM. I only shop f/nightly and for a family of 7 I usually spend around the $400 mark, but today I spent $290. I was thrilled. I have done so much cooking and am excited about trying new recipes. It was lovely walking past items in the supermarket thinking 'I can make that'. I am hoping that next f/night I will spend less again. My TM is already starting to pay for its self.

What a great idea. I am also analyzing my family's eating habits. my self and my husband need to loose a few kg and I also have a son with ADD who I think would benefit from a preservative free (or close to) diet. I agree that what we decide to do needs to be a life style change. we all know diets don't work forever. And I think we all understand that if we eat more calorie's in a day than we burn we will put on weight and if we eat less calories that we burn we will lose weight. Its that simple. We just have to remind our selves every time we put something in our mouth. I think the TM will make life easier for my family to make healthy meals

Made these tonight with a fried rice on the side. We all loved them and I would even say they are the best Chicken Kiev's we have ever eaten. I made double the batch as we have a family of 7 but we still had heaps left over. Definitely will be making these again. Thanks so much for sharing this great recipe. Love it.

Its amazing how the TM gives me confidence to try new recipes that I never have tried before. I think its the fact that the TM can do so much and leaves your hands free to do other things while a meal is cooking or the fact that its so quick and easy and we don't have to wash up several different appliances. Tonight I am making Chicken Kiev and fried rice both from this forum. Thanks TM.

Hi Zan, I failed the first batches of mayo before I read other peoples comments on the forum and succeeded. And as for the Butter my sister and I went in halves buying 10 litres of cream and had a butter making day. The butter is in the freezer along with the butter milk for future use. I do love my TM. don't know how I survived without it now.

I have been inspired by this forum so much, I have found so much help from so many lovely people. Since receiving my TM only 5 days ago I have made Pancakes x 2, cheese and bacon rolls, stock concentrate, chocolate custard, bread, scrambled eggs, choc chip cookies, mayonnaise x 3, sweet and sour meatballs, peppermint slice, french baguettes, butter x 3kg, family chowder, hot choc x 2, and peanut butter. wow when I read back through that list I even shocked myself because it does not feel like I have cooked that much, must be because everything is so fast and simple.

Made this tonight, and it was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be doing this recipe again. The kids loved it to which is always a bonus. And was enough to feed 6 people easily with some crusty bread for dipping. yum yum Thanks heaps

Hi tarasis, The recipe for S/R flour is in the EDC. it reads 150g plain flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp cream of Tartar (optional) pinch of salt
Mix together
You would need to make up a double batch to get enough for the Choc chip recipe.

Thanks for the advice. I Definitly will try with the honey and maybe chuck in a couple of other ingredients. Can I add a bit of honey in the mayonnaise I made today or will that cause it to separate. I don't think it will get eaten as is because it's a little to oily tasting.
