Title: Alyce Alexandra Giveaway

We have another exciting giveaway. This time our thanks goes to Alyce Alexandra for donating a copy of her latest book "Quick Fix Every Occasion."
We would like you to answer "What type of cuisine do you like best and why?"
The rules are similar to all previous giveaways.
-tell us your name, your answer to the question, and give yourself a number.
-you must have 50 posts as at the 25th September, 2013
-you must be an Australian resident (sorry, postage is expensive)
-only one entry per person
-you may make a comment with your posting but comments can only be made within your entry.
Any comment only postings will be deleted as will any entry which does not comply with the rules. Moderators are an exception to this rule.
-the competition will close on 15th October,2013.
We will be asking MM to do the selection as he has done previously.

I'm Judy and I'm number 4.   I don't particularly have a favourite cuisine but English homely type meals are right up my alley with a bit of Italian and Asian thrown in as well.

Favourite cuisine is the rich, varied, colourful and flavourful food of Malaysia. That's where I was from before becoming an Australian.

My favourite cuisine would have to be French.. Whata surprise... From a local bistro to dining in a chateau what is on your plate is very important to them .. Food has to both look good and taste great, is commonly seasonal yet inventive.. And i am 100 percent on board with that...!

hello I am Medusa and my favourite food is probably anything but with a lean to Asian.  I like anything and will give pretty much anything a taste at least once. I think I am 14!!

Thank you to Alyce and the mods for another excellent opportunity. I'd love this book before Christmas, then I can wrap up another precious book for the boys to give me.

My favorite cuisine is the mysterious meal that all my family will eat and enjoy. Until I work out exactly what that is then my pick is Italian. A beautiful tender veal scallopini with a refreshing gelato to finish.

I'm Cookie1 and my favourite cuisine is similar to Astarra's. Australian- roasts, casseroles etc with other cuisines thrown in.

Hi, I'm mep and I'm number 26.
My favourite cuisine is Thai because I love the balance between hot, sour and spicy. I also love a good curry.

Thanks to Alyce and the Forum TMX for these wonderful competitions. As suggested by Cookie1 earlier, I could certainly do with this book as I am only using my tmx once every two to three weeks (at best)  :(

Hi I'm Hopeful Cook I am number 27.
My favourite cuisine is also Thai - I lived there for 4 years and love everything about it - people are kind and happy, Bangkok vibrant and exciting, beaches wonderful . And the food is always fresh and full of flavour!!! Thai's are the ultimate foodies, quite happy to travel for an hour to find the 'best' dish - even if there is someone selling the same thing across the street!

Wow just thought I would check to see who the winner was - and see all these lovely congrats to... me!!!  :o :o :o  I'm going to give this beautiful book to DD2 who lives in Sydney studying. She makes up a big pot of Alyces "Vegetable Chilli" from Quick Fix every week, and has a bowl everyday either for lunch or dinner. I'll take it with me when I visit her in a couple of weeks time, and we'll make something from it and review. Thank you Alyce and thankyou forum for my lucky book  :-* :-* :-*

Thank you everyone. I bought a book for DD1 so it's nice that DD2 has one now. Sending her a C*les gift voucher today also so she can have DS over for dinner and make something from it. She's a real health nut so will be making a bee line for things like quinoa salad
