Margaret what a damn nuisance. Keep hounding them.
My silver lining for today is that the recipe to use up the mashed potato was so successful.
Cookie, Farfelinas recipe are always lovely, so no criticism from me, but when I want to use leftover mashed potato in bread, I just sub 100 g for the flour.  No need for milk as I use cream to make the mashed potato.

Today’s silver lining is a boast … sorry about that.  We just got this in from our architect – it’s the film and article that was taken about two weeks ago (that’s DH finishing off a fingerboard he had just shot and, later, preparing his lunch).  I take no responsibility for the narrative, we had nothing to do with that and the still photos were all taken the day before we moved in … so the place was all nice and sparkly and new!  https://www.realestate.com.au/advice/unit-above-a-shop-belongs-in-wes-anderson-film-universe/

You certainly have something to boast about there Marina, it’s absolutely beautiful and amazing in what has been done. You must be over the moon with the final result, closing the shop and walking up those stairs to your apartment must be the best way to end a busy day.  Do you have parking at the rear or do you have to park in the street?  I will make sure, if ever I return to Melbourne, that I pop in and have a look.  Well done to you both and thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Wow, Marina that is fantastic. What a lovely living space.  It is not easy to do what your Architect has done. Ral and I love it.
Today my silver lining is I finally got Lambie to suck from the bottle.

Well done, Chookie, hope he / she / it didn't knock you over, lambs can be very enthusiastic when it comes to sucking from a bottle!

Thanks for your kind words, Judy and Chookie.  We love it.  There is a single car park out the back but it is a pig of a driveway - I can get the car in, but I refuse to reverse it out (typical woman driver!).  It's funny how things get around - one of our colleagues posted a link to the article which she picked up from a post by one of our customers on Facebook ???

Today I was sent to Rehab. It was a silver lining day. The beds were made by the AINs, worth their weight in gold. Then they said, they would do the showers. We shared them. Best shift ever.

Michele, nice to have some support.
RAL blood test today. No detected cases of virus in Ballarat at the moment, but still not happy about going out.
Judy, thanks for doing the link for Michele.

Good to get the help at work, Michelle, always appreciated when that happens.

Good luck with Ral's bloods today, Chookie.

My silver lining for today is that it will be my last day at the hand rehab clinic - I've been wearing a split, off and on, for approx. 8 weeks now and today I will call an end to the treatment as I think it has gone as long as feasible.

Hope Ral gets good results.

Good that the rehab has come to an end Marina.

I have been cooking and had a phone visit with my GP, just to renew a script. So much better than waiting at the surgery. She was still running half an hour late, so glad I could keep pottering at home.

It will be nice to feel normal again Marina.                                                                                      You certainly had a win yesterday Michele.                                                                                      How did Ral go Chookie?

Fingers crossed for Ral.
I went to the podiatrist and then did the grocery shopping.

Marina your place is beautiful, how clever . Chookie well done now it will demolish those bottles . Silver lining today is I got to spend time with friends , small quilting group and the book club . It was great but feel a little uneasy . I fact it caused me to stress , I decided that I’m a better person in lockdown than out of lockdown! To many things to negotiate but it all work well even DS had his mate over while his mum and I went to book club . Tomorrow I am hoping to make some sausage rolls for last of the home school days .
