We're at day two of our ski hols in porte du soleil. Max today was -16 C. Needless to say we didn't ski the whole day. Trying to upload photos with tapatalk, in the hope that it's easier!

Ok, it didn't work. I might try again later after I start the chicken soup. In the thermomix, of course.
I always have problems with uploading photos!

The first photo is one of the chalets just behind us, taken this morning, and the second one was taken at sunset about 15 minutes ago from the front of the chalet.

Stunning sky, Cheryl.

I always loved that first fall of snow but hated it once it froze over - truly treacherous to walk on.  All those photos manage to cool us down a bit during our summer here.

Gorgeous photos but stay warm and safe everyone!
Also, next time my kids complain about how cold they are when I walk through the freezer section in the supermarket I am going to show them these photos, even though they love going skiing provided they have about 10 layers on!

I definitely don't miss the snow!  Had my share of freezing days, icy roads and sludge when the snow starts melting... without counting frozen feet, even in snow boots!  Much prefer aussie winters  :)
Kim take care on the road.  Hopefully your "mairie" is efficient and roads are getting cleared, salted/ sanded.

Thank you all so much for the photos, they are truly beautiful. Certainly picture postcard. CC your house is beautiful.

I have had very little contact with snow. Mainly in Tassie and round New South Wales hills. A bit in New Zealand and that is all. We were lucky enough to see it snow in Tassie once.
