Recipe Requests / chocolate icing?

Just wondering if icing can be made in the beast.  If so does anybody have a recipe for chocolate icing.for the weetbix slice

Condiments and Sauces / Mango dressing/dip

I feel like a cheat because this is so easy but I couldnt wait to post a recipe  :P

1 x 300g tub natural yoghurt
1 x 440g tin mangoes  (or 1 fresh mango peeled and seed removed)

Put both in TM (use the juice as well if tinned) . Blitz on turbo 4 or 5 times until smooth  (there is probably a lower speed for longer time but I am new at this!)

Beautiful  also served as a dip for cold cooked prawns or crumbed or deep fried fish or squid

You can also put in some mint for a change as well

So far I only have the edc and the indian cookbook.  I am hoping to get all additions to the beast for Xmas  ;D

Can anyone recommend a couple of the cookbooks worth buying?  We are meatasaurases not vegetarians.  I also love to entertain.

Also are there any other cookbooks or accessories etc I can look at getting?  I have the thermoserver.

Introduce Yourself / A bit rude of me

I have been posting away in the forums without introducing myself first  :P  I just got carried away!

I am a 46 year old mother of 2 who works part time in our family business.   Living in the south west of WA - its a good life  ;D

Had my demo on the Friday night about 2 weeks ago and got the beast the folllowing Friday.  What luck - getting it for the weekend.

So far am loving it and cant wait to try it out on everything!

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / cookbooks

Hi does anyone know if you can access the recipes online anywhere?  For example the EDC - I wanted to look up the ingredients for the Salami and pasta fettucini as I am at work and wanted to pick up anything I needed on the way home and my book is at home.

Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Apricot chicken risotto review

I know this review has been started but I checked 23 pages twice and cant find it!  If somebody can move this it would be great

Tried the ACR tonight. Exactly to the recipe. It was ok but chicken was a bit overcooked while rice was undercooked.  Flavour was a bit bland but it was good for me as a trial run. Kid and hubby not overly impressed.

Would I cook it again?  probably not without tweaking

Rules and Instructions Of Use / help with steaming veggies

I must be a dunce. Do I steam in the big veroma bottom, the smaller varoma tray or in the basket that goes in the jug I am just looking at broccoli.

I was thinking about trying this for dinner tonight (second time using the TM) and was wondering if this recipe would be suitable to steam some broccoli in the veroma at the same time?  I think the chicken takes about 17 mins could I put the broccoli on at the same time or wouldnt it cook properly?

any help would be appreciated  ;D

Suggestions and Complaints / Food sticking to bottom of jug?

I just got my TM yesterday and decided to make the Vegie concentrate today.  All went fine except some of it has stuck fast to the bottom of the jug.  I have soaked it and scrubbed it for hours and cant get it off.

Surely this doesnt happen every time you cook in it?

Any help would be appreciated  :D
