Today we had the in-laws here for lunch, as it was MIL's birthday during the week.
The are but hard to cook for - as MIL is gluten free and hates garlic & chilli. FIL will only eat meat if it is in the form of sausages or mince (not sure why), but he does like seafood. I thought we'd have a selection of things and they could choose what they wanted.

We had spicy pork balls & vegetarian pasties (Quick Fix Every Occasion), prawn cold rolls, chicken san choy bow, prawns, avocado salad (from Alyce's low carb book) and a magic bean chocolate cake (which I got carried away decorating!).

Hope they enjoyed it Katie, it looks a fantastic spread.  I would have called in for some leftovers if I'd seen that picture before I left Geoff  ;D

I'm going to have a couple of BBQ'd sausages in a roll and will do extra to take in and see if Geoff fancies one.  He's obviously sick of nursing food home now and is getting stuck into pies, pasties, fish & chips, spring rolls and egg/lettuce sandwiches that his sister and I take in for him.  He has asked for crayfish but that will have to wait as a special treat for Christmas  :-))
