Hi I'm Sam, I have been saving for a thermomix since I saw one at a demo last month and finally bit the bullet and ordered one yesterday. My consultant has said it may be up to 5 weeks before its here but I'm hoping it will be sooner than that. I can't wait to start using it  :D

Hello Sam, welcome to the forum.  It's nice to meet someone who doesn't have an issue with new or old model, you have very timely ordered the new model ;)   Quite a long wait but that is to be expected, things must be pretty hectic with every one wanting one NOW  ;)

Hello and welcome Sam. What part of the lovely Tasmania are you from?  5 weeks is a long time to wait but then they are a very popular machine.

Hi Sam, I'm also in Tassie and just ordered the new Thermomix, but as far as I know I should have it by 20th (less than 2 weeks). But I could be wrong, guess I will find out soon. :)

Welcome to the forum Sam. It will be worth the wait. Hopefully it will turn up quickly. I'm in NSW and was told the wait would be 10-14 days. It took about 2 weeks when I ordered my first TMX.  :)

Sounds like people are getting quoted shorter waits than I was so fingers crossed it will be here soon.

Welcome to the forum.  You are amongst wonderful company who LOVE Thermomixing everything from chicken stock to soap powder.  Is there anything this machine cannot do? This forum is the BEST ever and the most supportive group of people.  I mentioned a few years back how wonderful it would be to bring everyone together.  It would be just so much fun.  Great people, great food and a whole lotta fun.

Hi and welcome to the Forum Sam - ditto the other comments - I do hope you don't have to wait too long.  In the meantime you will be able to gather recipes and ingredients so as you can jump right in when it does arrive.
