I used this for Christmas cookies
I made a small change.
I polverized sugar for 40 seconds on Speed 10.
I found it very useful for decoration

Just wanted to clarify this - it's only the egg white, not a whole egg.

Just thought I would add the recipe I use which does not use raw egg whites (important if you are cooking for kids).  This recipe came from Bake at 350 blog, I've converted to metric measurements, Aussie products and the thermomix.

Ingredients
4 tbsp pavlova magic
scant 1/2 c. water
450 grams icing sugar
1 tsp liquid glucose

Method:
Ensure TMX bowl is clean.  Insert butterfly.

Add the Pavlova Magic and water to the TMX  and mix speed 3 / 2 mins.

Sift in the icing sugar and mix speed 2 / 20 secs. (Do NOT skip the sifting!)

Add in the glucose syrup and beat on speed 2-3 / 3 mins, just until the icing is glossy.

Cover with plastic wrap touching the icing or divide and color using gel paste food colorings.

Here are some cookies I made with it - just beware that cookies need to dry for 24 hours!

This is my icing in the flooding bottles - you will need to thin with a couple of teaspoons of water for flooding
