Oh no JD, you poor love, how frustrating.

You need the break, last resort nursing home with food parcels.

Ho Ladies this sounds like so much fun, hopefully we can arrange one in the eastern states  next year and have a get together for those of us who find that WA is just a wee bit too far for a couple of days.

Thanks DG, I read that after I had posted, it would have to be more than a lunch, as I'm down the bottom of Victoria.  Lets see what happens...

DG, what a sweetie you are. Thanks for all  your support girls, I will just try and forget about it for the weekend and start again on Monday. I met Katie for coffee this afternoon and came away feeling calmer and more relaxed.  :-* :-*

Do we have a time to be at Perth airport? I was hoping to fly in really early and have a bit of a look around Perth as I haven't been to WA before.
Judy - I understand how much organising goes into respite care. With morning and evening services to your home and family in the middle it might be better than respite.
Absolutely forget about it this weekend and start afresh Monday.

It may end up being that way Michele but it's a lot of responsibility to put on relatives/friends.  Looking forward to meeting you in the West.
