Made a loaf of SD bread this morning.  Possibly the best tasting loaf I have ever made ;D or maybe it's just that I'm happy not to have to eat any more shop bread.

Mab, that looks delicious.
The Chicken thighs,( bone in, skin on) rubbed with dry KFC spice mix was very very nice. Will do again as easy and tasty.
Chocolate B and B, with hotX buns very good. I forgot to butter slices but didn't notice.

Mab, that loaf looks beautiful, I bet it tasted wonderful..
I feel guilty that I still buy bread as I am not getting time these days :(

Made non-fried fried rice yesterday and as usual tasted wonderful, this time my little fussy darling had it too without a complain (she was occupied with her books ;) ) but was so glad she ate it as it had blitzed carrot, mushroom and celery..

I've made a start on my Probus birthday party food.  50 little quiches, these are the last few made from scrap pastry and to use up the rest of the prepared filling - the others were already in the freezer.

A full quantity of Heavenly Manna from The Best of our Recipe Communities.  I'll cut it into smaller slabs to freeze once the chocolate is set then into squares before plating up.

Heavenly Manna - so large I had to use my Miele oven tray.
