It's a bake off in here. Everyone's cooking looks and sounds fabulous.
Love your cakes jamberie. Very clever. Chookie I think the reindeers are made using pretzel ears, Wilton candy eyes (spotlight sell these), cookie mouth and smartie or M&m red nose. Very easy.
Mab I love the giant freckles. Very clever and much cheaper than the bought ones.
Today I made a mud cake from my cupcake addiction blog. Will freeze it to use for a friends choc drip birthday cake later this week. Hope it's ok as it took 2 hours to cook!?

Thanks for the lovely comments re my cupcakes :) I am quite proud of those ones -something that would never have been possible 4 years ago!!
Yes Chookie, like Kimmy mentioned the  reindeer are super simple. The parts are:
*pretzels from the "Parker's Mini" packet
*I made simple biscuits and used a large piping tip for the right size (bigger than the Wilton 1M)
*the eyes were Wilton eyes, however I read someone used Christmas M&Ms and piped chocolate pupils)
*the noses were M&Ms stuck on with some of the writing icing available in the supermarket (royal icing would be fine too, but I had the writing icing already in the pantry).

Poor little fellow Bedlam. Is it the same bug from before or has a new one got him? I hope he recovers quickly.

Your Kumquat jelly is beautifully clear Chookie.I'm sure Mandy and Bruce will appreciate homemade bread after their holiday.

I hope your little one recovers quickly Denise.
