Beautiful cakes Jamberie.

I love those reindeer cupcakes. It was 40C here today - way too hot to bake. I made the kids some choc mint Icecream yesterday and Chookie's Swedish icecream cake today for a family Christmas lunch. My brother dropped in to borrow my icecream machine, and mentioned that a couple of people tomorrow are allergic to egg as well as gluten intolerant. Consequently, I also made a no bake slice based on a wholefoods simply blog recipe that is both egg and gluten free.

Lovely work on the cake decoration ES.
I have made the Swedish IceCream cake for the last 2 Christmas's. Everyone loves it, to be honest I forget it has raw eggs in it, I generally make it weeks out and freeze it, then forget to tell people about the raw eggs.  I'm not artistic at all when it comes to decorating, I just gave the Raspberry coulis in a jug for people to pour their own.

They are gorgeous cupcakes, I'll have to try the reindeer ones because they're so cute, yet not that difficult to put together.

I would love to make the Reindeer cakes but what do you use for all the face parts.  ?
Today I have steamed eggs in TMX to make curried egg sandwiches for lunch.
For the Second time I have made the Carrot and Yoghurt dip. I measured the ingredients this time so I could post recipe.

No cooking this morning as we are having the car club Christmas lunch today. We will go early and help set up. This afternoon I will need to bake some bread as we have run out!

Sometimes everything goes right.  Today is one of those days.
I have made 3 dozen oaten wheat biscuits and now the Thermi is making Cumquat Jelly. I will post the recipe for the biscuits as they are not only lovely but very easy. They can be dipped in Chocolate , but I tested one, ( ate it  ;D ;D) and was very nice plain so will dip some in Chocolate and leave some plain.
I have posted the recipe for the carrot dip and will be making more for Xmas day.

I have just taken my cake out of the oven, it has to be wrapped in a tea towel and left overnight before removing from the tin. It is similar to a stained glass cake, loaded with glaze fruit & macadamias.
I made pumpkin & kale soup which I am eating for lunch now, and also gave a large beef & vege curry in the slow cooker.
Silly  me thought I would make freezer room for Christmas goodies and used up stewing steak, but now the curry is so big, I'm going to have to put some back in the freezer. Duh!
