Michele, I think we are all going to have "expensive" weeks, I am low on so many items.

I am up to $250 for the fortnight, need hi lo milk, dh is out of Brazil nuts, he eats a few each day to help ward of prostrate cancer, I am hoping to come in under $300 for the f/n.

My friend sees her specialist on thursday, will know when we get back from MR if I am still cooking for her.

Menu this week

Sunday, pork chops & salad
Monday roast beef & veg
Tuesday  chicken or beef stirfry
Wednesday left overs from monday
Thursday out to cocos
Friday boys have freezer food
Saturday boys have freezer food

Lunches spag bol, salads, quiche & soups

Yes we like it there & upstairsat Raffles.

We are taking JD to Cocos, its a good place for her to start her trip.

Just dine the shopping, have to add it all up.

$277.97 for the fortnight. We dont need anything else, the boys have heaps for while I am away. That is what I used to spend per week feeding the 3 of us, & now I have fed 6 people over 2 weeks with this amount. $139 per wekk, very happy.

Wish I could but we are going away on Wednesday for 9 nights otherwise I would have come for sure.

I haven't done my supermarket shopping this week, but I have been to the market. I'm looking at my budget over the fortnight instead of a week again. So far I've spent about $80. I bought more at the market this week as I won't be there next weekend  ;D
My shopping list is getting longer as I'm starting to run out of staples.

Isn't it lovely to look at a stocked - not over stocked freezer. To see what you have and be able to put your hand on what you want, not have to shuffle through a pile of - what the heck is that?
