Gert, yes I have the same fridge, we love it. Had it 2 1/2 years now. Good work on the pantry, mine does seem less cluttered. I still have 7 tins of tomatoes, havent bought any since the start & must have used 7 or 8, just shows you what a hoarder I am.

Today, i have just weighed my cooked silverside. I have just over 850g left. So it fills  2 containers. Looking at new ideas for silverside.

Any suggestions? I have pasta dishes, pies, fritters, any other deas.

H :)

Corned beef and hash browns..

H my freezer containers have icy frost on them and a bit of ice underneath the bottom drawer. Maybe I have it on too cold even though it is t on 8 markers taking it to just the beginning of warmer. What do you have yours set at?

It is a very efficient and quiet fridge.

I wonder if it would work the same as ham in a quiche or something you would normally use ham for.   I love the idea of adding it to the potato bake.

Yikes tha tis colder than I have and  is too cold . I have now put the freezer on 9 bars and  fridge on 8  I'll see if the ice and frost go away in the freezer. I did have the freezer on 7 .

Soup sounds good.

Here it is, can easily be converted to TM. I really enjoyed the bowl I have just eaten

Corned Beef & Potato soup
1 medium onion diced
2 stalkes celery diced
2 good sized garlic cloves
32 oz chicken stock
3 large potatoes
1/2 cp milk
however much corned beef you have leftover.
Salt Pepper and Thyme to taste

Sautee celery, onion, and garlic add stock and potatoes. cook until all is soft.
Put in TM & chop to size that you require
add corned beef and milk simmer for an hour to allow flavors to blend. I used about 400g.
