Today I was in Coles just looking and there were two young mothers  with a total of 5 kids each with a  kiddie trolley causing chaos racing all over  the place running the trolleys  into people and stuff. Absolute menace  for oldies  and others. They were totally out of control. What is the point of kiddie trolleys? Do kids get their own shopping money?

You didn't have MEAN ELLEN watching you. Her mother, MEAN ALICE was the same.

I'm with you Gert.
If it kept the little ones occupied and the parents gave them some items off the grocery list to look for it might work. For the most part they run wild with them. Even worse when they have the full sized trolleys.

It annoys me when mothers let their 6 year olds push big heavy trolleys, (which the kids can't even see over, let alone control!) and then just laugh or look at you like its your fault when the kid shoves the trolley up your backside as your walking down the ailses.

Kids do seem run "wild and free" in a whole lot of places while their parents look on.
I must have been really mean (feeling guilty now... have I scarred my kids for life??) or really fortunate because I only had to walk out of the shops once when one child was throwing a tanty. Just picked them all up, apologised to shop staff for leaving the trolley with stuff in it and walked out. Told the kids on the way home in the car we'd have to eat baked beans until next shopping day (They do still like baked beans ;D). Never had much of a problem after that. :)

I must admit that I absolutely love grocery shopping online.  No hastles with the kids or trolleys!!! It is amazing to have them delivered to my kitchen bench.
