Hello Friends :)
It's a shame to reach this conclusion but I think the quality of our flour and other ingredients often have influence in the results!
These Rolls for example here are so fluffy.
I just have to apologize to that effect.
Regards

Don't apologise Isi. I'm sure my result was a problem with what I used/did which is why I want to have another go.  I didn't have fresh yeast so used 2 teaspoons of dried which is the ratio for Bakers flour but think it must be different for plain flour. Yours look so lovely I'm determined to keep trying even though bread is not my strong point (except eating it  ;D ;D ;D)

Isi, these are just lovely and very fluffy and light!
I used low fat Philly and blitzed it with a bunch of basil, then continued on using bakers flour and 1 sachet of dried yeast.  Absolutely perfect result - wouldn't change a thing!!
Thanks. ;D ;D

These rolls are still lovely and light and moist today, 24 hours later, - perfect for breakfast!

I love bread  :P and bread making so had to try these. I include a picture and think they compare OK with Isi's. They were fast and I found them a good roll. I was surprised the cheese did not add to the flavour but all in all a nice one.

I am so glad you liked it dj.
Thanks for the great picture.  It really is interesting with the cheese - but if you try with flavour cheese (garlic or herbs) it is great for barbecues....

Since I've got Bimby I hardly bought bread. I tried many different bread recipes. And this is one of the best ones.
Thank you for the recipe.

those rolls look superb farfallina, but alas I don't know where I would buy labne. Do you think a pot set greek yoghurt would be a good substitute, or cream cheese, or what else?

Labne? Don't worry about it. Because it is just a substitute for philadelphia cheese. In Turkey they don't sell Philadelphia yet. The cream cheeses like philly are generally called Labne. They use it to make cheesecakes as well.

As for me, since I live in Italy I always use philadelphia
Soon I will try to make my own philly with the recipe in the forum. I let you know

Labne is a "yoghurt cheese" that is popular in many middle eastern countries.  To make it you can line your steaming basket with a clean tea towel and spoon in some yoghurt. You will need to allow quite a bit of yoghurt as you may loose up to half of the weight in whey.  Sit the basket on an upturned glass in the middle of a large bowl (to catch the whey).  Stir the yoghurt every so often to redistribute the whey and it will be ready to use when it is nice and thick. The whey is really nutritious and can be added to smoothies and baking.

Hope this helps.  :)

WOW farfallina - they do look soooooo soft and fluffy.  Reminds me of my childhood when the baker's van used to call at the house and we would go and get yummy fresh rolls just like those.  :-* :-* :-* :-*

Good call Chelsea.  So easy to make labna when somebody explains.  Valerie's yoghurt thread has a link to the video on how to make it.

Thank you for the link Thermomixer.
I've been making yogurt myself with a recipe in Io e il mio Bimby but I guess Valerie's way is better. Next time I make it I will try her way.
Did you make this yogurt cheese? Maybe I should try it to make cheesecake. Everything is about cheesecakes nowadays! :)
