Thank you for the disappearing post Chookie. As Gert said don't worry about it.
I hope Ral is continuing to improve.

Gert what an awful thing to happen to your friend. I do hope she is ok and has no repercussions from the virus. When she is well tell her to cough on anyone that says anything horrid to her. That should sort them out. It could be anyone, anywhere that catches it. We just don't know. I fear that some people are feeling off colour and continuing on with their daily lives and hence infecting others.

Judy, I know it isn't in your nature but take things easy.

Another very warm one for us today.

Thanks for all the good wishes.  RAL home today.  Everyone has been wonderful.  The nurses all deserve gold medals.
Gert, I really feel for your friend.  Hope she improves.  Bloody awful virus.  What fascinates me is that it mutates so it can survive.
Judy, hang in there.  Things will improve. Can’t wait to catch up.
K Atie, nice to see the kids getting into the Xmas spirit.  I helped our GC buy a Chainsaw for their mother for Xmas.

That’s too hot cookie.  I’m happy with ours, the week leading up to the big day has been really good for all those out shopping and getting their places ready for entertaining on Friday.

This is a Xmas day like no other.
DIL and GD have stayed home as GD not well. Not Covid.
DIL has sent the making of  RTE side of Salmon. I hope I do it in an acceptable manner. Also sent lovely Shortbread Xmas tree.
Ballarat GD got her driving license yesterday.
Nerdy GS from Melbourne caught a large Salmon in Dam.
RAL slept most of day.
I cooked large Turkey buffer for dinner. Delicious.
Xmas gifts not wrapped, just shoved into bags with Xmas stickers stuck on.
The good news is we and all our friends have so far survived Covid.
Ral and I wish all our Forum friends can take some pleasure from an exceptional Xmas day.

If parents are not around the bend by now, keeping the kids home will soon send them there,

Yet another disappointment for you Chookie, I do hope GD’s health will improve.  Under the circumstances enjoy your day with those who are able to visit.
For the first time in many years I have both daughters in Adelaide at the moment so for me, although without my DH & DM, it will be a special Christmas for me after enduring a horrid year.
Denise the situation in the UK is dire, I really feel for you and if everyone does the right thing hopefully they can get on top of it.

Merry Christmas to all our members, let’s make the most of it whilst  we can - we never know what is around the corner.
