Wow Uni, that sounds interesting. It looks more like a cake with nuts in though :D

no sauce just a new drop on olive oil when heating in a pan

frank doesnt like polenta so my MIL sends me some when she makes it

My daughter and I have been having steel cut oats with various dried fruits ie apple, mango, pineapple.  A nice hot breakfast at 5am with a cup of tea.

yes you can robyn, its best to add a binch of salt or sugar

YOLKS Egg yolks require special treatment. The gelation property of yolk causes it to thicken or gel when frozen. If frozen as is, egg yolk will eventually become so gelatinous it will be almost impossible to use in a recipe. To help retard this gelation, beat in either 1/8 teaspoon salt or 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar or corn syrup per 1/4 cup egg yolks (4 yolks). Label the container with the number of yolks, the date, and whether you've added salt (for main dishes) or sweetener (for baking or desserts).

Thanks, I am getting so many fresh eggs per day. also have about 5 dozen eggs in fridge at the moment.
I give them away to my parents and neighbors.

Must cook another cake..

will freeze some tonight. :)
