;D This Lemon Butter is DELISH, even the 9 year old loves it and asks for Multigrain Toast and Lemon Butter most mornings.

I will add Recipe in the morning, really low in Sugar which is good as a lot of them a very high in Sugar  :)

I bought myself the new iPad!!  So exciting, I've been playing with it most of the evening, when I can wrench it out of the kids hands!😄
It is brilliant. Has anyone tried the app just dance 3? It's had us in hysterics!!!

Non Thermomix Recipes / Re: Re: Herman the German Friendship Cake
« on: April 02, 2012, 12:14:08 am »
Omg CC, I remember when we lived in England, my mum making a Herman cake! I can clearly remember the dilemma mum had when we went away on holidays, what to do with the starter. The secret was to make sure you had plenty of friends doing it so that you could get some back off them. I'm almost positive that we used to keep it in the fridge though. I'll have to check with mum.
I'm going to try this and see if it brings back memories.

I bought 4 tops for myself, some sheets for my son, then was walking past homeart and they had pizza makers for $39.99 so I HAD to have it! Hehe. Pizza for dinner me thinks.

Hmmm I got told to lay it on it's side to protect the scales. I normally wrap it in a thick towel too.

Well I finally have a chance to make something in thermie. Haven't had time or been home for long enough. I  just made the meat for beef and ale pie for tomorrow night and was so paranoid that it was going to beep an error at me, but no, it's definately fixed. Yippee!!!

Can't be bothered cooking tonight, might be takeaway of some sort or even a sandwich.
I'm actually pooped, this hot weather is now annoying me. I would like some proper autumn weather please.

I picked up thermie this arvo! Alls well now( haven't had a chance to try it yet). It was the board behind the front panel which had apparently tripped out! They don't know why it happened. Something to be aware of anyway.

I've just had a message saying that thermie will be ready to be picked up tomorrow morning! :) No mention what was wrong with it though. Suppose I'll find out tomorrow!

Well done Hally for sorting it out.
Does anyone remember when school nurses used to be allowed to check hair for nits? We used to call ours, Nitty Nora the bug explorer!!!
It's a shame that kids aren't checked anymore as some parents don't seem too concerned and it is a big problem in schools.

Yeah Hally, I very rarely buy chicken on the bone, but the Maryland is leg and thigh and really adds to the flavour!
